Personal papers, circa 1900-circa 1946, of Almon P. Young, a professor at the Michigan College of Mining and Technology (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan. Includes personal correspondence, correspondence from India, expense records, scrapbooks, clippings, and other printed ephemera as well as a banner from Purdue University, of which Young was a graduate. In addition to having worked at the Nadiad Industrial Institute, Young did missionary work in India.

Professor Almon P. Young joined the faculty at the Michigan College of Mining and Technology (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan in 1930 as an assistant professor of Mechanical Engineering, promoted in 1936 to Associate Professor and in 1948 to promoted to Professor.
